I would rate them a zero star if I had a choice.
They charged my son $$$125.00 for a 2-min-eye exam.
The staff are unfriendly.

They have been very helpful and stand behind their products. I have had a problem with one pair, and they've replaced it at no charge, and now have fixed one of the arms again as part of their guaranty. I also had my eye exam which was one of the best.

My prescription and glasses were done perfectly.

Wish I. Could give the 1/2 a star. They act as if they're too good to share the same area as a customer. Extreme favoratism towards their own nationality. Rude, don't interact with you, took 3 people at once, and no selection in glasses what so ever. And this means through my insurance or weather I have to pay out of pocket.

I walked in and said good morning and that I was there for my 10:30 appointment and the first words out of the manager's mouth were "do you have insurance and what's the name of your insurance?".

I was taken aback by his interrogation considering it took me two days to make an appointment with them before hand because they needed to verify all of my insurance & personal info (I even had to give them my SS#) yet when I showed up I had to give them my contact info yet again.

When it came time to order contacts I asked the receptionist if she knew how many boxes my insurance covered but she wouldn't tell me until I first told her how many boxes I wanted. Obviously I wanted as many as my insurance covered. Something shady was going on between the receptionist and the owner/manager because they spoke in private for good while before finally placing my order. They didn't bother to ask or tell me what brand or type of contacts they ordered.

I was given one free trial lense to try on but no lense holder; other offices typically give free lense holders.

The eye doctor was friendly but didn't really bother to give a full explanation of the exam results.

Aside from that, the office is dated and cramped. The bathroom where you wash your hands before putting the contacts on looks like a janitor's closet.

In general they were not friendly or informative; they acted as if they were doing me the favor. I would not return there.

I will not return to this place. Eye exam took about 4 minutes, which in New York terms is great, you know saving time. Except this is one place when I want the O.D. to take her time during the exam. After being out of the exam room I was offere to replace my exisitng transition lenses for $400. I told the saleperson, I got mine originaly for $200 , he said fine $230.
Yeah ok serisouly he just gave me almost a 50% discount. Argg I wanna curse the guy out, but will stay decent.
Stay away and use cheaper places like zennioptical, optical4less and 39dollarglasses. Save yourself the feeling of being ripped off by Buhis
