The absolutely best hospital I have ever been to with any of my children. The love their jobs and are great with the children and the parents.

My daughter was treated there for asthma and pneumonia. The doctors and the nurses were absolutely wonderful. They took their time to make sure her lungs were functioning properly and that we understood all the medications and procedures they were doing. They didn't rush us out of there but made us feel very comfortable. It was clean and well lit and we were extremely pleased with the outcome. My daughter left feeling better than she had in years and was able to breathe so much easier...

I love this hospital every time I have taken my sone never waited more than 10 minutes the doctors are amazing and took care of my son right away yes the nurses might need a class on etiquette but the hospital is great

This hospital is a dump, my daughter was sent there by her doctor we sat in the ER for 15 hours, before they told us what they think was wrong with her and that they are admitting her. The ER was not busy but the resident told her that it is the weekend and the attending do not like to be called in so it is taken them sometime to find a doctor. Not once did they ask us if we need a bottle of water or anything. I ask if they could transfer my daughter to Winthrop and the doctor got a nasty attitude saying Winthrop is not better than us we are the best children's hospital in the country and refuse to sign the transfer papers. We finally got to the room which was on the 3rd floor the closet doors are falling off the bathroom was dirty the hallway is dark and run down and just scary look like the hospital was not renovated since 1960 daughter did not want to stay in the room because she was scared. I ask if they could waive the $15 per day parking the nurse told me if I wanted I can circle around until I find parking on the street if I did not want to pay. The food was nasty. Now the treatment the nurses ask like they had no clue what was going on, one doctor told us the course of treatment then the next day another one came in with a different treatment so I told her about the last doctor's treatment course she was confused because he did not tell her that he was going to treat my doctor that way of course we took her out and went to Winthrop where my family was treated like HUMAN and my daughter was taken care of with the proper care and treatment. I HATE THAT HOSPITAL.

best hospital in the U.S by far. my son was diagnosed with a heart defect back in 2000. doctors were great, he is still doing fine now. He was also treated in the emergency department for a urinary tract infection best staff ever they treated him and released him the same night
