I'm just rating on the pho since that's all I had. It was competent if uninspired. The broth lacked the depth and subtlety that one expects in a seriously produced pho broth. Nevertheless, if you are craving Vietnamese and find yourself over in Chelsea you won't be disappointed.

I had the Pho and Sandwich Combo for Launch. It was actually good but I'm pretty sure you can get better Vietnamese food for this price in the city. However, that's one of the only Vietnamese option in the neighborhood.

I had:
BÁNH MÌ CHẢ CÁ (not a fan)
:Hanoi-style: fish with fresh dill, onion, mayo, jalapenos, and house-made pickles on a French baguette
PHỞ GÀ (safe and traditional choice): Rice noodle in a chicken broth served with shredded chicken, bean sprouts, onion, chives flower, and fresh herbs, topped with fried garlic, ginger vinaigrettes dipping sauce

Pretty decent Banh Mi, but pretty pricey at the same time. Nice and crunchy, though and not too many other options in the neighborhood for Banh Mi.

I came here with a Groupon for dinner on a weekday night. The restaurant was quite empty but probably because it was 5pm when we came in. We ordered the steamed shrimp coconut rice cakes appetizer, the beef over vermicelli, and the pork belly clay pot. The shrimp coconut rice cakes tasted okay and it was pretty light. The beef over vermicelli was tasty as well with a generous amount of beef. However, when we got the pork belly clay pot, I noticed there were no quail eggs. There was just one chicken egg. For $17.50, I would think there should be quail eggs. Also, the portion was really small. I doubt I will ever come back since the portions are really small for the price. I can go to Chinatown and get better Vietnamese food.

the food here is good. but the place is run but such rude incompetent assholes. almost all of them not all of them, that it negates everything positive gained from the food.

The owner should take note.
