Great selection of beer! Food is good, but nothing amazing.

What happened to the Cloverleaf? Don't get me wrong, it's still a great destination for any beer lover like myself. The beer events and tap take-overs are craft focused and fun. That seems to be their main focus these days as the food has been on a steady decline.
My family and I thought perhaps we were just timing it poorly with busy nights. But it seems every time we decide to give the Cloverleaf another shot, the kitchen misses. So much so that even my 6 year old son was disappointed by the macaroni and cheese (once his favorite thing on the menu). The menu has been cut in half and the entree portions appear to be following the same fate.
We used to love the Cloverleaf. Going there was a good value and a treat. I hope this is just some growing pains that will work itself out. C'mon Cloverleaf! Be great again!

Great beer, burgers and food but some dishes are overpriced. For instance, the fish tacos are back on the menu but they are no where near worth $16. The old menu with more options was better as well since many popular menu items are now gone.

Used to be outstanding, but with it's popularity in recent years they've seem to become complacent. I used to recommend it to people new in town and they'd come back glowing, in the last year or so, not so much. Service time has been good considering how busy they've become in the last few years. However, food has been so-so, burgers used to be outstanding, but are down to typical pub quality. The crab dip was a must have, now tastes ordinary, bread is hard and over-seasoned. Have been coming in about once a week with friends and family, we'd usually leave with a growler or two. Last three visits the growlers have been half filled (which causes them to go flat quick). Been causing us to go try some of the new places popping up in Montclair, but it would be nice to see a Cloverleaf come-back, at least with the food and bar service. Atmosphere is still good and the staff pleasant.

Very nice rotating selection of beer as well as burgers. They try to be creative with the "Burger of the Week". If you have kids, Wednesday night is the best to go. The wait is not that long and kids meals are half price.
