Great service and great amenities

The staff was friendly the food was okay. We were there for a wedding in november and i was unseasonably warm but the hotel was hot and very uncomfortable and the a/c didnt work in our room. We were only there for one night and didnt complain but im sure if we did they would have done something to accommodate us

Went for a luncheon downstairs in one of the banquet rooms. Delicious food, friendly staff, beautiful building. Highly recommended!

We often stop here for the bar’s happy hour. Half price cocktails and apps. The view from the patio is not great, but well placed hedges make it fine. I’ve never seen it over crowded, we’ve been able to sit at the bar, in the lounge, and outside. This is a must when we are in the neighborhood.

I recently stayed at the hotel for business. They did not have the room I reserved and forced me to room with a co-worker. They would not give me the managers name or a confirmation that I would have a room in the next day. They just told me to go to the front desk in the morning and ask for a room. I did ask for a room in the morning and they gave me a room with people still in it.

When I finally did get a room later the next day it was dirty, with a visible layer of dust and crumbs on the desk and other surfaces in the room. The decor of the room leaves much to be desired. They also called to ask why when I would check out on day 2 of my 3 day stay.

We ate breakfast one morning in the restaurant. We had to ask for service a couple of times, the food was overpriced and disgusting. The server never asked if we wanted split check but gave us 3 separate checks, we had to walk the check over to be processed.

The cherry on top was when I checked out they did not honor the rate on my reservation. When I showed them the reservation they said that it was not correct and they couldn't change it. I asked the manager and they also said they could not change it. I had to call in later to get it changed and it has since been resolved.

Simply put this place is great if you don't have a problem. I am not sure if it is a combination of not caring or not being properly trained but the hotel never tried to make the situation right (not free stuff just a logical time line of when I would get a room or a way of making sure that I get what I reserved in some way.) The most telling part of this was I was never asked my name or any way to follow through on making sure their promises were kept.

I would not recommend this hotel for professionals or people looking for event venues.
