Called to ask a quote for a 5x7 carpet and I was quoted $2 per sq ft. Showed up in person and it magically became $3 (105 vs 70). I left, and of course I will never go back

To start off, a 10 minute pick up time turned into an hour wait - but I was doing housework and thankfully and no where pressing to go.
They picked my laundry (included a comforter and a mattress cover), I informed the guy that these items are there and was NOT told of any extra charges involved. I expected maybe a few dollars extra charge for separate wash and low heat drying for those items but was charged $25 for the comforter and $10 for the mattress cover in addition to the charges for separate wash and low heat. When I called the store for amount owed, was appalled at attitude in explaining my charges. All in all - $60 for about 30 lbs of laundry seems mind boggling to say the least.
This was my second experience with these vagrants – the first time they overcharged me stating I had 10-12 lbs more laundry than I actually did. So this time I weighed my laundry and put in a little note with the approximate weight. Suffice it to say, NEVER going to use these people. In this neighborhood plenty to pickup/drop-off laundry services available.
Reading the glowing past reviews, I am not sure if they have undergone a change in management but such scumbag practices will surely affect their business.
