After being closed for several months for renovations, the Clinton Hill branch of the Brooklyn Library recently reopened. The changes are definitely a huge improvement. The most obvious changes are in the self-checkout and front desk areas. The new design definitely makes the library feel bigger. It also seems less cluttered and crowded, and it definitely seems brighter. On my most recent visit the staff person was very friendly and helpful. This is a pretty small branch so the selection of books is limited but with inter-library loan that is a minor issue. It is great being able to pick up a book at this branch instead of walking to the main branch.
