Cliff's Auto Services Center has been renovated to its former self. Cliff now manages the shop himself instead of the incompetent people that used to. Under his management i had a great couple of experiences with very friendly people who are helpful and experienced. I strongly recommend visiting this shop and the one on Rockaway Blv for everything from an oil change to the most major jobs.

Worse mechanic shop now!! Lots of money and time wasted and needs to be redone somewhere else, Poor workmanship! Never again!

Before I was a satisfied customer for 8yrs under their old mechanic
Went in july to pass inspection. The mechanic that's usually always there, reliable
work. He was fired. No longer a worker
and so they have another guy who's nice but doesn't seem to be quality. They told me brakes were bad and won't pass, showed me seized caliper. Fair enough
$650 alone for back brakes? But needed to pass inspection,pressed for time,
I said ok. The rotors and pads they put on were so cheap (currently rusty and warped again after 3months
New installed (boss was like "My prices are hot but I use good parts") what a joke!
Warped rotor, making noise instantly. Its the most obvious thing. They told me NO
its the parking brake making noise and they will need changing eventually, he scrapped down the entire parking brake and hardware (something that's going to
cost me hundreds now to rebuild,They proceed to remove parking brakes and
pass inspection(illegal) He left the two parking brake cables inside the hub and it was also scraping when driving. I went back a third time, told them it has to be the rotor.The boss very annoyed and said "we don't have time for him put that car off the lift and get another customer inside. I was in disbelief how rude that was after taking my money and wasting my time and still haven't finished the job Only thinking about money.
The mechanic said the job has to be done right, the customer already paid.
They checked, yep.Garbage parts used only $25 centrek rotor. They changed it. Seemed fine. But the two parking brake cables that the moron left inside the hub started scraping when driving. went back another day ,so much of my time wasted to get this issue right and no shame from the boss, she's angry at me but not at her staff's incompetence. He relocated one cable, left the other. I told him why not just get the other side out too,same thing will happen!
He said nah don't worry. Sure enough noisy wheel when driving because of that parking cable there. Such draining energy and sour attitude from the boss.
I decided to cut my loses and I don't ever want to see those people again
Ibought entire new parts and new parking
brake assembly that Cliff's didn't even need to dismantle. even the parking brake shoes are easier to change, this guy scrapped entire hardware and probably damaged cables too where he left them scraping.Oh and rotor warped after a month and squeeking since and rusted.
I am going to a new mechanic and have bought
original parts to be installed and rebuild my parking brakes that my car hasn't had since they worked on it
Money and time wasted at Cliff's. Never again!

worst place ever!!! today i took my car to that place cuz sometimes my car shut down while waiting for the green light so they told me i have to repalce the rely i said ok and they charge me $200 for that but 2 minutes after i left my car shut down again so i took back, they check again and told me im good to go and then again when i was about to leave my car shut down again!!! so i asked the guy if he knows what he is doing? he get crazy and start cursing and almost beat me so i had to call the cops. now im gonna take him to the court. my advice stay away from that place and save ur money

I went for a wheel balancing and the mechanic told me that I needed to get all my bearings and axle replace. At this location and the mechanic was very rude and arrogant. They just want to make a quick buck on their customers. However I took the car to another mechanic and all it need was a tire replace. Please never take your car here. They will rip you off.
