I had a terrible experience here. After my eye exam it took her 5 weeks to get back to me just to tell me my insurance didn't cover the glasses I wanted from her selection. When I took her prescription to an out-of-network shop it turned out the prescription she gave me was incorrect and made me quite dizzy. She asked me to ask that shop to replace the lenses before she offered to do it herself with the new, correct prescription. When my glasses broke a year later I was unable to get new ones because her prescription was only good for one-year. When I called to ask her to extend it since my insurance only covers eye exams once every two years she refused. She explained that it was standard practice and that she didn't want to be responsible for a prescription that possibly needed to be updated (I have since asked other optometrists and they all said that it is standard practice to NOT put an expiration date on a prescription since all prescriptions expire two years after the exam date. I explained that my only alternative is to wear the expired prescription in the glasses that I wore previous to her prescription, so regardless I was going to be wearing an old prescription unless she extended hers. I finally begged her to at the very least let me fulfill the free pair of glasses that I hadn't claimed from my insurance which to be fulfilled at the same location as the exam. She said she would 'look into it' and never got back to me.
