They only get one star because I can't give them less. I'm sure this place does fine dry cleaning, but if you have a complicated alteration, this is NOT the place for you. My daughter had 2 proms to go to and needed 2 dresses. I was lucky enough to buy 2 dresses online for a total of $160. Not bad! The dresses needed some hemming and nipping and tucking. Most of the nipping was in areas where the dresses had beading. Dress #1, had a train in the back and was a scoop back. The seamstress was all ready to make the dress one length until I stopped her. After all the pinning had been done on the dresses, we went to the register and it was costing me a whopping $200 to fix both dresses. The work needed to be done, I didn't know where else to go, so I paid. We went back about a week before the first prom, and when she tried on the first dress, I was so annoyed. The seam in the back of the dress which should have been in the center was off to the side. When I pointed this out, she began tugging at the dress to get the seam centered, causing it to pinch on the other side. To say I was angry that this woman didn't know you cannot take a dress in on one side only, was an understatement. They offered to fix the dress for free and told me to pick it up on Tuesday, the week of prom. I show up on Tuesday, and the girl behind the counter, the only one who can speak and understand English, tells me I'm early. Apparently, in her mind I was supposed to pick the dress up the day of prom. Unacceptable. They told me to come back later that afternoon to pick up the dresses. Good thing I did. She never finished sewing the lining of the dress, the zipper is bowed so that you can't close it. The list goes on and on. Now I have to take the dress back this morning, ( the day before prom) to have this resolved. The dress does not look like the dress I bought any more.
