Used to go here but had to stop for 2 reasons -
#1 The woman working the counter was constantly asking me to "bring her cash, because they charge me."
- I used to be in CC processing, build the 3-5% you're being charged (which she probably is already) into your prices so you don't have to make your customers feel put out. It was so rude, she'd be pretty forceful about it, too. I'd bring in anywhere between $50-$100 in dry cleaning at a time and she expects me to make a trip to the ATM for her when I pick it up. But we all know the real reason she wanted cash - so she could declare less revenue, not my problem. Want cash? Stop taking CCs and let your business go somewhere else. This is how the world works now, people use debit and credit cards-especially for things like this.
#2 They take FOREVER. Many times I would drop off 8-10 shirts and 3-4 pairs of pants and ask for them to be ready on Wednesday after 5 and the woman (after basically demanding that I bring her cash when I pick it up) would look at me like I had six heads. Really? You can't get that done in 2 days? One time in particular I remember going in on Thursday to pick up Monday's drop off and there was a much younger woman there who told me that "only half of it is ready, the rest will be ready Saturday morning..." Are you serious?? It's a little bit inconvenient, but I'm going back to Westwood Cleaners in Scotch Plains.
The ONLY reason I didn't give it one star is because it's a local, small business. Won't be back.
