worst place ever in Employee Health / Corporate Health Dept. Sat over 1.5 hours just to get a physical done. Sat over 30 minutes two days later just to have my PPD checked/read (would have waited longer if I didn't speak up and asked why its taking so long just to read a ppd). The place is grimy and dirty with poor ventilation, poisonous and unhappy look on the faces of staff that work there. I will never in my life choose this place to have a pre-employment physical screening done.

I went to get stitches for my laceration. First and foremost, I sat for 2 hours bleeding. The staff could care less about you, and when the physician assistant came in to put stitches in my hand, she didn't explain the care routine to me. She rushed the whole time, only to find out she was more concerned about leaving and going home than helping with my wound. When I asked about pain medicine, because I knew the ripped skin would cause pain eventually, she suggested 4 over the counter painkillers. Not once did she say "here is a prescription in case the over the counter medicines doesn't work." The next day, my fingers were in agony! I felt the throbbing and the pain, I went to the ER to see if they could prescribe me something, even if it was a stronger advil...how could someone function with over the counter products when skin has been ripped and stitched? They made me wait 30 minutes in pain, the physician assistant that helped me last time walked right by me without asking about my visit or fingers. She walked right by me as if I didn't exist. They told me I had to pay the office visit to be seen again and they would look at the wound and dictate whether or not I would get medication. A patient that sat ok the other was given advil. How funny is that! I would never go back to this place, they are not compassionate at all. I am not one to right reviews, but if I save you a visit from a place that doesn't seem to care about you or your wellbeing, I would rather save you the agonizing pain that I went through. Find another hospital if you can! I agree with the reviews....Worst Hospital

My Husband was brought in by ambulance on 7/5 due to a accident. He had head & neck trauma. He was left to sit in a steel chair for hours before seen. No ct scan or xray of his head which had a deep wound an bleeding badly. Once I arrived at hospital an questioned nurses to why he hadn't been seen I was told....Look lady we have over a hundred people sitting in waiting room...
Terrible Terrible place
They even had the nerve to call the next saying..... Being his xray was taking after 5pm it wasn't read until morning an it was seen that he had Neck Widing an I should bring him back......Well No Thank You!
Had he not sat for Hours. It would have been read.
I wouldn't take a flea to their ER

My mom was a patient there several times on 2/16/14 she had heart failure and the doctor and staff was excellent with saving her life. A couple months later she had an aneurysm in her right arm and had to have a catheter installed in her chest for dialysis, during the surgery the anesthesia depleted and my mom woke up in the middle of the the procedure the doctor would not give her any more medication and continued with the surgery and let my 64 year old woman cry and scream in pain as he put sutures in her chest area,

On my recent visit to Clara Maass Medical Center I just happened to get out of my bed and looked out of the door to my room and caught the nurse assistant (The person who takes blood pressure, temp, ask's you to change into hosp.gown,etc..) going through my wallet. I said"dude what are you doing? I don't appreciate you going through my sh*&t.". After he apologized profusely, I still was left with no answer to why he had to go through my wallet looking for information. It's not like I was unconscious or unable to communicate. Just ask me and I would have given him any info his heart desired.KEEP YOUR WALLET IN SIGHT IF AT ALL POSSIBLE
