Rae is a phenomenal singing teacher! I have learned more than I even thought possible in the 5 or so months that we've been working together. Rae is whip-smart, funny, intuitive, incredibly patient, and so wonderfully kind. I have never felt as comfortable with a voice instructor as I do with Rae; she's been so positive and encouraging. Our lessons together are such a treat, and always the highlight of my week. Fortunately, Rae also teaches lessons via Skype - which means I can sing with her from across the country! Online lessons have proven to be just as effective as the in-person ones, with the added convenience of not having to leave my house. Truly, Rae is a singing student's dream!

Excellent teacher. Knows her music & has a wonderful voice herself. My lesson is over Skype which is a good experience. Have occasional blips of sound, but very workable. Rae knows how to get more out of your voice & have you feel good about singing.

Rae has a very congenial nature and she knows what she's doing! She will challenge your expectations of yourself, so be ready! (She also does my lessons via Skype since I live three states away...it works quite well!)

I highly recommend Rae de la Cretaz. She is an outstanding teacher and performer. Students of all abilities are welcomed and will benefit from Ms. de la Cretaz's kind, warm, yet disciplined approach.

Rae has been my voice teacher for almost 25 years. What keeps me coming back each week? It is because Rae has taught me to truly claim my voice, not just in singing, but throughout my daily life. Her techniques have allowed me to not just hit high notes (and low ones!), or to just sing well, but to reach my greatest potential and to keep my voice healthy for years to come.
Taking an hour each week with Rae will be the best thing you can do for your voice (and yourself)!
