I just had a bizarre and horrific experience at this place about 3 hours ago. This is the second purchase I tried to make from this florist shop. The first transaction went fine. Today, I walked in to arrange for a delivery, and there was a man sitting behind the counter that never looked up (even once) and kept talking on the phone about solar panels and taxes. There were no other customers in the store. It clearly wasn't a customer on the phone performing a business transaction. I just stood there like a fool in front of the counter shifting weight from one foot to another. After ten minutes of shuffling and some fake coughing, he called loudly to the back "bo!" and went back to his social conversation on the phone. He never once made eye contact or acknowledged my presence as a customer in his store. Nothing like: "I'll be right with you" or "just give me a minute". It sort of felt deliberate, and I wonder whether because of my ethnicity or just cause that's the way he treats everyone. After another few minutes I let him know that he needs to work on his customer service and walked out. His response was "go, we don't need your business anyway" and he went back to his phone conversation. I stood about 3 feet directly across the counter the whole time. I called the number of the store and asked for Maria (the person who sold me flowers the first time) to complain to her and "Dean" answered the phone and told me Maria was not there. I think that's the guy (he never introduced himself in the store). You can't make this stuff up. I literally drove to the next florist down the street and bought flowers from there. I might file a lawsuit against this place. Nobody should be treated like that, especially someone trying to buy flowers for a happy (or even a sad) occasion.

I was visiting from out of town and ordered flowers for my sister's shower in April and only gave a vague description of what I wanted. I picked up the most beautiful arrangement of flowers possible and the price was just right. I was very happy and got alot of compliments on the flowers.

I was very disappointed in the customer service that I received from this company. My fiance ordered flowers to be delivered on Mother's Day for my mother. First of all, they wouldn't guarantee what day the delivery would be made. They stated that it would be either Saturday or Sunday. I waited with my family all of Sunday morning until the evening waiting to surprise my mother with the flower delivery. Only until my brother answered the door for a pizza delivery is when he saw a delivery attempt notice at the door. We were extremely disappointed. When my fiance then called up the company, he was only able to reach the answering service and never received a call back that day. The following day, one of the managers calls him back to let him know that the flowers were not delivered because no one answered the door and that a phone call was made to me but no voice message was left. The response to my fiance was that of "Sorry why didn't THEY answer the door if they were at home." This makes me so angry because on top of the disappointment of not receiving the flowers, you are then going to place the blame on the customer when your company did not make a full effort to deliver the flowers. I can give them benefit of the doubt that maaaybe (although highly unlikely) the driver had rang and knocked multiple times but we were SO oblivious to it, and even that he really attempted to call me (although I miraculously have no missed call from him) but to say that he left no message and did not try to contact my fiance when he did not plan on attempting to redeliver makes no sense to me. She then says to my fiance that "the drivers are busy and they can't waste too much time." My feeling is that if your drivers are too busy to do a proper job when we are paying for their 100% service they either need more drivers or should not make promises they can't keep to customers they can't handle. Being extremely upset at these statements, I then called to speak to the manager also. Although she was relatively nice, when I expressed how disappointed I was at the customer service, her response to me was to say 3-4 times that she is "sorry that You didn't answer the door." She had no excuse for why the driver didn't leave a message but claimed that he did call. Overall, I'm disappointed with this response. I would have even appreciated a "sorry we didnt make a better effort at reaching you" rather than sorry you didn't get your flowers because you didn't open the door. And, other than offering to redeliver the flowers (not on Mother's Day) she didn't even try to offer any discount (i.e delivery charge or future service discount). At least 1-800-Flowers will send you a coupon if they make an error! I did not feel as if they accepted any fault or responsibility for the lack of service. Highly disappointed.

They delivered truly wonderful lowers and great service. I highly recommend City Line Florist. The flowers were so beautiful that all of the hospital residents came by to see them and even take pictures. Thanks for a great job.
