City Hall Barber Shop

Absolute worst barber I've ever been to. I told him I wanted a trim on top with a taper fade on the sides. Not even close to what I got. After combing through my product-filled hair with a dry comb, he literally "chomped" all my hair off. A "trim" became "everything gone". A taper fade resulted in distinct lines, no taper. I even showed him a picture twice. He never clarified anything with me before pretty much doing whatever he wanted. Finally I gave up trying to clarify what I wanted with him, because it was clearly pointless and my hair was already on the floor. This should be a military barber shop, not in the heart of NYC. THE WORST. Go somewhere else or you risk feeling violated walking out of there.

Even when the place is empty the barbers seem to be in a rush. They are rough and not very accurate. Results are nicks, uneven sideburns, and missed patches. The price isn't too bad for a haircut, but it's too much for the poor quality.

The posted price for a haircut is 14$. The barber charged me 20$ telling me that was because I asked him only to use scissors (not the buzzcut device). He was also unnecessarily rough and fast combing through and cutting my hair, causing pain. The whole experience was extremely unpleasant.

Terrible haircut. The guy didn't listen to anything I asked. He cut it how he wanted to. Do not go here.

great place - cuts cost around $12, seems like it is a family owned place that really provides quality service. i'm going back!
