This place is the most efficient city clerks office ever!!! They run it like a DMV: you get a ticket, you wait in line, you go up to the counter.
If you want to get married here, you have to show up the day before to get the license. I would really advise getting in line 30 minutes before they open, especially on Thursdays and Fridays. It gets so busy! We got in line an hour before opening on a Friday, and by opening, there were almost 100 people in line. They move very quickly but it's still going to take you an hour or two.
