This place has a cozy charm about it, I like it.
We started off with:
- Guacamole: I really enjoyed the pomegranate seeds in this dish. It added such a refreshing quality to the guac. I did think there was too much black pepper though and the pomegranate seeds probably provided the much needed freshness to the palate.
- Esquites(corn off the cobb with cohja cheese, chipotle-mayo, chili powder, lemon & epazote) - I know the description says "corn off the cob" but for some reason I was expecting corn on the cob with cheese/chili like a lot of other Mexican places. However, a corn soup-like dish appeared and I was pleasantly intrigued. I enjoyed it.
For my main dish, I got the shrimp tacos, which were slightly fishy tasting and small shrimp, for the dish, I think its on the more expensive end as there were no sides that came with it and the tacos were small-ish.
