I went into citi pups to look at frenchies and took out one from her cage. Her feet were so badly splayed it was sad. when i told the worker about her feet i got an attitude i mean the pup looked healthy otherwise but a pup with horrible feet and bone growth should not be sold for 3000 dollars.

P 1507737 I am saddened that I must write this review about Citi Pups. I was not planning to get my baby girl from Citi Pups, but I fell in love with this little girl last August. After a couple weeks, we made the decision that we had to take her home. Our experience with the purchase and taking our Puppy home was excellent. The staff was extremely helpful and professional. After getting our baby girl home, it was discovered that she had some parasites, Citi pups worked with us to resolve this issue. Everything was going great until we had her 5-6 months. Despite being a beautiful, sweet, well behaved puppy... Around 9 months old, we noticed her limping on her hind leg. This limping turned in to lameness and eventually became painful and caused her to lose her balance and fall. During this progression, she was taken to vet for exam. The vet recommend seeing an ortho specialist for patella problems. Please note there had been no accident or injury to cause this situation. Prior to seeing the specialist, we took her to another vet for a second opinion. This 2nd opinion vet, is actually the vet office that Citi Pups works closely with in Tribeca. The diagnosed her with congenital subluxation of patella in hind leg, recommended orthopedic surgery to repair this injury to prevent permanent limp and or tendon tear. During the two week time we were waiting for scheduled surgery, our baby girl started limping and became lame on her opposite hind leg. This lameness prevented her from being able to walk without losing her balance, collapsing and rolling over when both of her hind legs gave out. This was a traumatic and painful thing to see. The orthopedic specialist confirmed that our 9 month old who we had less than six months had COGENTIAL subluxation of patellas in both hind legs. At this point we are faced with the additional estimated cost of 2800.00 per leg to repair her patella. YES. 5600.00 FOR SURGERIES, not including the 650.00 for the exams to diagnose and get second opinion. We preceded with the first surgery of one leg. Following the surgery, she required a private dog walker 3 times a day to carry her out to do her business for about a week. During this time, she had to be medicated and wear a collar she found uncomfortable. As she was recovering, the other hind leg became worst, causing her to fall. This caused additional pain that was unnecessary for her to experience. The surgery is scheduled for the other leg once the other leg heals.
Out of respect for Citi pups business. I emailed, mailed and phoned the office with details of my baby girls congenital problems that occurred within 6 months of purchase. We provided an entire history from purchase contract, initial pet visit, medical records and pictures of her condition and lameness. We kindly asked that they honor our contract.
Please note that by this point, we are emotionally drained, sad, and nervous about her condition and potential future problems that could decrease her quality of life. Not to mention the huge financial burden of paying $6000.00 to keep our baby girl healthy.
Initially, Citi Pups emailed me back within hours. They were courteous and responsive. I then spoke to them by phone, they requested additional medical records which I obtained and submitted within two hours of request. The office informed me that the file had been given to the owner. THE FIRST STRANGE response was that I was told that they have no way to contact the breeder because they suddenly retired, do not have contact info, as well as the sire and dame no longer being breeded. After a week of not hearing back from Citi pups, I followed up, they stated that the owner/management had the files and they would remind them to get in touch we me. I did not hear anything. I followed up again this past week, with no response. BEFORE YOU PROCEED with purchase, do your homework

I got my 4 month old puppy named daisy, after that day she got kennal cough, and i later discovered she also had pneumonia as well. The guy that sold me the puppy said that cause she was old, he'll give me a discount of 500$. To me that was sweet and nice, and good customer service. I didn't know that the puppy was already sick. Literally that same day she was coughing, and wheezing. I took her to the vet and they gave me meds, and said daisy has pneumonia. I was utterly shocked and was devastated. I didnt even had her for a month. I had her 2 weeks and a half. She just passed away today. I dont know what the store is doing, but please dont do this to anyone else. I welcomed her into my home. Loved her like a family member. And when she passed away, i felt like my heart was ripped away. I dont know if you gave me a sick pup on purpose, cause i had read the comments on google. And they were basically the same as mine. But please take better care of the dogs. Cause they are more than dogs when someone welcome them into their own home. They come family members.

I got an amazing puppy with a great personality, but I got her and shes sick with Kennel cough because they dont vaccinate the puppies or actually care about the puppies wellbeing. All they care about is getting them from puppy mills and making money. Its really really sad. She also has an eye infection, so I spent 1600 on a dog and already spent 1000 on vet bills. Amazing personality...Crazy about this dog but shes sick and Im crazy stressed out because she wont stop coughing and vomitting. Only had her a week well see whats next. Cute dogs but sick.

So many bad reviews and I don't know why. We got our little Frenchie named Stanley from here in January and he is perfect! We also take him to the daycare there 3 days a week and Stan loves it! He walks me there in the morning because he SO ecstatic and refuses to leave in the evening because he loves it so much!! The place is very clean and the staff is very friendly. It is very busy place so don't expect to be served champagne while you're puppy shopping. Anybody I speak to who has gotten their puppy from here have been equally happy so please don't be discouraged just do your research on the specific dog breed you are wanting so you understand exactly what you're getting into. This place is great! Stan and I love it here and we're very happy together!!
