Reviews to Citibank
After banking with citibank for over 15 years in NY, it's been 3 years in a NJ an a very poor experience with citibank. I used to go to my local branch in union however I was told due to the economy ... they closed it and I was only left with newark which just by its reputation I would try to stay away as much as possible. I was basically with no other option than going today and what a very poor experience. Parking is an issue, lots of movement outside, certainly did not felt safe at all. I was on line for about 1 hour, etc. In other words I had just decided to look for a more convenient bank. At the end of the day almost all financial institutions handle customer service as equal as others therefore convenience speaks for my needs.

Service when you are in here is sufficient. The getting to it is not. The drive into the city if Newark and then finding available parking that you don't have to pay for or to avoid the chances of getting a parking ticket. It is seriously a huge flaw in this location. Don't want to come here but there is no other choice for those of us in Central Jersey.

Okay bank but had to park, catch the subway then walk upstairs. Next time I went, I found parking about a block away, right between a TD Bank, Chase and PNC . . . Downtown Newark is not safe. The guys were pushing percocet pills in broad daylight. The smell of marijuana and cigarettes unimpressive. I called CITIBANK and they offered me other locations like Paramus, Clifton --- I asked well where is the East Brunswick location - that's close to my next destination . . . nope . . they do not exist in Central NJ. The rep then went on to say there are several branches within walking distance of MSG. Who mentioned New York?
Very inconvenient - but the bank itself is okay.
