Although the staff may have been warm at one point, they certainly were not on the 15th of August, 2015, at 11 AM.
One of the employees came from behind the counter to tell us not to park our bikes on the cellar doors, even for a few minutes to grab and go. After entering, one of the 2 employees behind the counter starting saying, "someone talk to me, someone talk to me, someone talk to me", to no one in general, then had an attitude when helping others. It was cringe worthy.
The baked goods are great though! Way to bake excellent vegan treats.
Clementine is just a few blocks away, without the attitude. Go there until they replace the rude staff.
PS the Cinnamon Girl on Flatbush hasn't been this rude.

Crystal met me at the door and was incredibly pleasant from the start. Thanks to another review I'd known to have cash on hand. I'd asked about the vegan selection and Crystal was more than helpful with choosing an assortment of desserts to bring back to the apartment with me. There are also grocery items ranging from produce and drinks of all sorts to ice cream etc. I really felt welcome while Crystal spoke about when she moved to New York and her experience here. It was also quite entertaining to watch her greet and intereact with the many regulars. It is safe to say that I'll definitely make it a point to stop by whenever I can.

I love cinnamon girl! They make my favorite the Spanish latte (it has a little dab of sweet and condensed milk). And it's so artfully made. Tons of interesting beers and other sundries. It is on the expensive side and can be slow but worth the wait if you have the time.

Love this place! It is Bed-stuy's best kept secret in my opinion. The service is always friendly, the coffee and lattes are great, the food is awesome! I'm addicted to their vegan scones. They always have a varied selection of standard and vegan cakes, cookies, muffins, scones, sandwiches, bagels, quiches, soups AND ice cream! The only thing they lack is seating; only 2 stools at a counter in the front window, but those are usually open, since everyone just takes to go. I've got multiple coffee shops/cafes closer to my apt, but I walk a lil further to support this great place.
