Went here on a Tuesday around 6:15 with one other person, got seated immediately, the service was excellent. Was served salad olives and bread immediately, the portions are huge and the wait for the food wasnt long, and the portuguese beer was really great too! They don't really update their website I think but whatever, we had a really great time.

5his is my most favorite restaurant of all time. I have been going there since they opened. About two years ago i gave up ordering the rodizio, only because it's just toobmuch mear for me. I usually order the chicken or the swordfish. Everything is fantastic, inclufing the owner, Manny who is very generous and community minded

Preg wife got food poisoning an hour after eating the salad/steak here. Will not go there again due to lacking cooking safety or hygiene safety. Automatically 1/5.
I ate their main entree which is an endless supply of meat. Their chorizo was excellent as an appetizer. Well prepped and well cooked. A great combo of juicy and charred. I inquired the waitress about my [soon to be] serving, she advised me of all five(six? she couldn't remember) different cuts that would come out. In my 2-3 hour stint, I received the same three cuts multiple times. Beef cubes, skirt steak, chorizo. The two(three?) that were never presented were the bacon wrapped entrees[never saw them go around until I was presented the check almost 4hrs later, by then the table was cleared and I had accepted my faith of eating a lot less then anticipated].
You do get a 'family style' food service where you share rice, vegetables, and fries with the family. A nice touch to carb up or green up.
We ordered a few pitchers of sangria, decently good stuff, not very strong but good enough if you don't like the bitterness of some red wines you'd still drink it like kool-aid.
[Going into the reservation the place was almost all empty, it was approximately 60% packed by the time food started to roll though and it remained about 60% packed throughout the night]
Food was slow coming out, and mostly bloodied, cooked very rare to rare. The meat was charred on the outside but that's it [not my cup of tea]. I was not given an option as to how I can get meat served to the plate and I never inquired as I assumed it was just not available. [based on other locations eaten, I'd be asked before food rolls out] Very, very few pieces came medium to well and way too far few and in between. Overall I would say the meat was above average; mostly spoiled by my plate being a stew of blood with clumps of meat floating around.
For dessert I had the creme brulee accompanied with a double shot of espresso. The creme brulee was without a doubt frozen and removed only when asked for an order. It too hastily came out of the oven around 25% scorching hot, 50% warm, and 25% ice cold. It was never rotated to the heat source and therefore it suffered. Part of the sugar coating of the brulee was really crunchy, wanting you to forgive it. Other parts kind of had a sad bend and snap to it. The dessert was served in traditional ceramic bowls; conspicuously like the ones sold in targets frozen freezer. The presentation was flat and basic and had no garnishments.
The double espresso was more like a cup of coffee[no biscotti :[ ); I raised my eyes in suspicion since someone else had ordered a coffee on the table, but their coffee was the size of a soup bowl in comparison. The espresso was weak; just too much water, and most likely out of an fast single cup brewer then a real espresso machine.
Other notes; No chimichurri and no fried calamari. Not acceptable for an entire establishment that sells "portugese" rodizio.
A 2/5 stars is a realistic expectations of what you will receive. 3/5 if you compare it to similar establishments in the area.
Heard quiet a bit of good things about this place for the last 6 months and disappointing they fell flat on almost everything, pass.
