Unbelievable. The best experience I've ever had at a salon. Not only was the staff warm and receiving, but so personable! Not stuffy, not pretentious (especially for it where it's located), and certainly not cold. I was a raggedy walk in, and they treated me like an customer they've had to their salon for years. My only complaint, and I hate to even complain!!!, would probably be how expensive it is. With prices being as high as they are, I'll only be able to go once, maybe twice a year. If you're well-endowed (financially speaking), YOU NEED to go here. And may I suggest, ask for Rubens. He wants to help you with whatever hair issue you have. He educates you right as you sit in his chair. Beautiful place, amazing talent, but just a little pricey.

My hair colorist Dan Rundell just came to this salon and I wouldn't recommend anyone else. He is THE best in the business and has taken my from blond to brunette and pink! They also use Oribe products, which I think are some of the best in the industry. Get your service with a side of prosecco!

Brian Buterbaugh is the best stylist I have ever had. I've known him for a long time - like over 14 years or something. He does my husband, my son, my entire bridal party, my friends. When I used to work in fashion and design, a pretty critical crowd, everyone would always ask me, "Like, OMG, who does you hair?" And I would always tell them to check him out. He is super talented in all areas: color, cut and styling. He is extremely creative and works well with all hair types which is why I chose him for my bridal party. Plus, he knows the soundtrack to any rock song; he 's like a walking MP3 player - especially if it's The Clash or Sex Pistols. An added bonus when you are seated for two or more hours. He is a total jem. If you haven't had his services, you are missing out on a NYC treasure.
