China Blue 傾 國

We ordered a lunch from China Blue on at 12:00 Aug 30th, and we waited the order for 90 mintues. We called China Blue, and they said the order was cancelled. I am really wondering is that the attitude to do business? Accept order, but cancel the order without notification, even not apologize for it? We are extremely disappointed by their service. We would not order foods from China Blue again.

I have only given 5 stars to one other restaurant ever. NOTE THIS IS FOR CAFE CHINA - their sister restaurant.
This restaurant had super fresh food and EXCELLENT service. I mean 5 star service. OH YEAH - NO TIPPING POLICY.
I get it- they raise prices on some of their items (10-20%) in lieu of this but still - well worth it.

The dan dan noodles were 1/3 the size of that at han dynasty (no doubt were just as good) but NOT worth the $8. Tiny bowl.

The LUNCH SPECIAL is $12 and incudes a soup or spring roll and main meal.
THey do not skimp on the portions.
I got the three pepper chicken and it was the best Ive ever had. along with the brown rice.

If i go back will try the kung pao. again, excellent lunch special.

Dont know if I would go there for dinner - prices are high.

Xiaolong steamed buns are nice. The sweet sour Fish is not that nice.

The environment is very finished with Chinese feature, which is nice. Service is good too.

Most decent authentic Chinese food in manhattan with proper deco.
Not purely shanghainese but it doesn't bother me.

We ordered a 'green leaf dim sum', 'potstick dim sum' and wonton soup. It was great!

A really nice and cozy restaurant. Doesn't look like much on the outside but nice modern (I think) Chinese/English music instead of cheesy Chinese Restaurant music :P

Would really recommend it to people whom don't want the standard tourist restaurants!
