8t a shame that the doctors working in this Hosp oral are so subpar. It a great hometown feeling hospital I was hopeful when hearing it was taken over by Morristown it would get better, the nursing staff did but the doctors affiliated are worthless. My grandmother had the miss fortune of entering thru the ER twice getting there staff doctors, the 1 st nightmare took a year of going to the ER 20th a misdiagnosis. She went to Valley and had emerge ncy that night. The next in injury was with orthopedic staff nightmare that surgery didn't work she us just being released from rehab. Now I'm taking her to Valley ER, it's unfortunate the ambulance wouldn't take her there to begin with!!! I hope Morristown does something better for us or they should shut down the ER and make this an out patient faculty because the ER isn't worth a nickel. Mention Chilton and people say it isnt a hospital but a place where you go to die!!

Their nurses act like nervous mothers, not healthcare professionals. One of the anesthesiologists thinks he is a stand up comedian, but is completely unfunny. A little more decorum would be appropriate. The hospital should revoke his privileges.
The only good thing about this hospital is that Derek Jeter was born there. But that was the old location.

I was admitted through the ER with colitis. I was treated very well during my 3 day stay.
I have no complaints and would go back to Chilton for any issue I may experience. I also had surgery there two years ago and again....everything went well. The staff was professional and took care of all my needs.

What's wedding with this hospital? It used to be better.. Now it's worse.. Barely anyone is working there except senior citizen volunteers, who barely know what they are doing. Lack of staff is slowing down service. 2+ hrs wait for service on Sat mornings..

My wife was diagnosed improperly and we were charged $500 for nothing. Went to St. Joseph's and not only was my wife properly diagnosed and taken care of but the bill was $175 and more extensive tests were done. Both hospitals are in Network for my insurance so why is my bill so high? Additionally they charged us for a test we did not request or want done and they did it anyways. When I confronted them on the situation they did nothing to resolve it. The state of NJ is going to conduct an investigation on their practices and I hope they get fined thousand of dollars for the immoral practices they conduct at the hospital there.
Rachel Thompson is unprofessional for the record. I requested her to deduct the pro-rated amount for the charge on the bill and she did not do it although my complaint was completely justified. I had waited over two months for a response when I got a call from Chilton asking for a payment. My family will not be paying this now nor will we ever set foot in Chilton Medical Center again.
