not happy ! the phones are always busy, different doctors all the time and the staff dont mind putting you on hold for over 3-5 minutes, they also give you an appointment but you're never seen on the time of,smh...

I am going to find another place for my 10 yr. Nothing but inexperienced young people working here and the primary doctor isnt the one to ever see my kid. Always someone different.. A few of the regulars who have worked there for a long time are nice but thats not the issue. Now the new thing is not picking up the phones and having you leave a message. Wtf! Doesnt make any sense. I shouldn't have to wait over an hour to speak to a doctor about lab results.

This place is not only incompetent but also puts money over people. I recently visited children of joy after having decent experiences until today. My new born son came back for an appointment which would have been the second. Until they turned us down for not having proof of insurance even though they see my policy is active and they provide healthcare services to my daughter who also had an appointment the week prior and obviously had coverage. They completely ignored the fact that the baby is only 12 days old and has yet to come up on the system. They requested we pay up front in cash for the days visit. Not only did I decline, but I chose to get health care at a facility that might at the very least mask their complete and utter disregard for people in need of care. Isn't it safe to assume that a health care professional would be able to identify that the birth of a child would signal what's called a qualifying event and as such result in proper insurance coverage. Especially if you have an existing relationship with said client. I can't say that all children are guaranteed joy when they pay these folks a visit.

The worse experience ever. I took my son for a sick visit, he's been having high fever for 5 days and the doctor that saw him, sent him home with no medications what so ever, she just did a swap test and we have to wait for 2 days to get result. 2 days passed and I still didn't get a call and/or result. Therefore, I am taking my son to the emergency, if something happens to my son due to an infection or being neglected (not properly examined) by Children of Joy Pediatrics, I will take this matter further. High fevers for days can cause many issues like seizures etc. I will definitely not go back to this clinic or recommend anyone.

The best staff ever they make you feel welcome from the very first time.. I have my three kids coming to this practice my yungest one was seen by Dr. Miranda at the hospital and she made me fill save.. She transmit a peaceful energy.. When i have my first visit with my baby boy he didn't have insurance and even though i have to pay upfront, i received my money back one month after my baby got his insurance. I'm very please with the children of joy family... Oh i forgot... My kids are super happy with the yoga classes that I get for free just for been at COJP..!!
