My daughter took Child'Space for nearly a year. We absolutely loved it! Our instructor, Kira, was fantastic! She's patient, caring, and extremely knowledgable. My daughter is now 2.5 and I often get asked by other parents how she became such a great athlete, I attribute it to the fundamentals she learned in Child'Space. She has excellent balance and coordination. I have signed up my daughter for many, many classes and this is one where I felt I got the most bang for our buck--the fundamentals your child will take away from this class honestly will last a lifetime. We loved the class so much that I have signed up my newborn for the class as well.

Being new to the whole parenting thing, I often feel that I lack the wisdom on how to better interact with my son to help with his development. I signed up for a Child Space class and have found it really helpful in not just making tummy time more fun but also how I can better support Hudson's development. (i.e. helping him to uncurl his fingers, tapping this body so he is more aware). Each class starts and ends with "customized songs" and then focus on how touch can help a baby find more movement options and coordination. It's one of the highlights of our week.

My 5 month old daughter and I just finished the 8 week Pre-crawler's class at Childspace with Dan at Lark Cafe. We had a great time and really enjoyed the baby exercises and songs that he taught. If you are looking for an activity to do with a new baby, this is a great option. You will meet other parents/babies and watch your children change over the course of 8 weeks in terms of what they are able to do. This will help them prepare for the 2-6 month milestones stages.
As a new parent, I didn't know what to do with my baby and Dan taught us some good techniques to practice at home. The whole idea of this class is to get your baby to understand their bodies.

This class is exactly what I was looking for after my son was born -- a class for younger babies that would teach me how to interact with him in a meaningful, constructive way. Dan is a great instructor and provides all sorts of exercises that parents can easily practice with their babies at home to help develop movement and speech. He even provides a CD of his wonderful songs (which my son and I both love!) so you can practice and reinforce everything at home. I've seen huge strides with my son already. Highly, highly recommend!

Dan's Tummy Time class was perfect for my 3 month old. It was age appropriate and incredibly enjoyable. Not only was each week a fun and new learning experience, but we were able to take home the tools that we learned in class and incorporate them into our daily routine at home. Over the course of the 4 week class, we saw incredible progress in our son's ability to not only tolerate, but really enjoy tummy time!
