On Joel's recommendation, I tried Chiko's today for lunch. I had a terrific, generous Cubano sandwich and a can of Coke Zero-and was shocked to hear it cost me a total of $5.75! I can't wait to go back and try other menu items. It's really a restaurant, not a deli/grocery-they should rework their name. It's very nicely appointed, tables and a nice counter bar, and very clean. The restroom was spotless. The woman in charge was warm and friendly (and cute!). There is a (lousy) liquor store next door, so I guess it'd be ok to bring in some beers to enjoy with your dinner. I would like a paper menu with prices, the laminated one lacks them-but then again, if everything is as inexpensive as my lunch it may not matter. I'll update this review as I try more things!
