I went to New York City for the day and this market was something that I was told I should check out. It didn't disappoint. The whole market was dimly lit in such a way to give off a relaxing feeling. Each shop was very unique and pleasing to the eye. If you're in New York City, you'll have to stop here.

As a life long New Yorker I go to Chelsea Market almost everyday and it never gets old! The history of the market from the 1800's to the current food and shopping is not to be missed! Coffee from Sarabeth's or a burger from Creamline are just two of the all time favorites you'll find in Chelsea Market. Trust me....you'll be in Love!

Came here during Christmas and they still had the Halloween decorations setup. I love this place since its 100+ years old and it has a great sense of history. Nothing like seeing industrial architecture in this restored state. Also, outside you can get to the new above ground walkway heading North and South.

Love Chelsea Market. Great selection of food, oils, spices. Some things can be a little over priced. Found out that the reason food is so good here is because the food channel is filmed upstairs and people selling food in the market downstairs try to become a part of the food network so they try and push the boundaries.

A pretty expansive market with helpful employees and lots of walking space. There's even some things you can get there that aren't available elsewhere, but there's so many you'll have to go to the store to see it yourself. Some things however are clearly overpriced but that doesn't deter the locals from buying certain things that they could go a couple blocks away and get for a lower price.
