This was my first time at Chef 28. My friend is a veteran there. The interior had a very speakeasy quality to it. It was dimly lit and very quiet. This already made it endeared itself to me even though it was probably because it was an Wednesday afternoon.

Really good Chinese food near Flatiron. The egg drop soon is a little too eggy though, way too thick. But the sesame chicken was just right, crisp and just enough sauce. I asked for no spice and they acquiesced. This was also the lunch menu price, so it was a good bargain too. The brown rice was nice too.
