I used to work for Chase and had a Premium Account with the bank in the past. As a company, it’s a good bank, but this location gave me the worst customer experience I’ve ever come across. My problem wasn’t just that they had no idea what to do when someone loses keys to their safety box. It was how they dealt with the issue along the way. For example, as they were figuring it out, I had to fill out and notarize a special form, which was lost in the mail the 1st time I sent it. When they finally got the form on the 2nd try, they started to realize I also owe fees (not mentioned in the beginning and it would have obviously been easier for me to mail them a check with the form). The amount of fees varied depending on the employee I would speak to, and I am still trying to get them to give me the exact amount and directions on how to pay. I had to work with 3 people, 2 of them managers (including a Branch Manager). Each time I talk to a new person, it was clear that the prior person did not update the manager on my situation, and in general information seemed to get lost when folks would speak to each other (for example, the manager had no clue my form was lost the 1st time).
I’d use another branch if you can.

I went to Genti to open a new checking's account with direct deposit, I was told by him that I couldn't open a new account because there was an error with my information and the system. He also mention that banks talks to each other. (what that means?) __I was not exact sure. If he didn't know what he was doing he should have offer to let me speak to the manager, he also stated that I needed a 2nd Identification to open an account, when I have friends whom has open Checking account with just an High School Identification. I felt that I wasn't disrespected, just because I was not a private client. he had many excuses for not to open my account this is a big major corporation, and I should have not been treated like that. Was it because I looked like a kid(I'm 25years old) or because I'm Hispanic not sure!, I felt very dissatisfied with his service, and discriminated. I walked out and walked 3 block over to the other Chase. I was greeted as entered and open my account with no problem and just 1 identification.
