Five Star Experience from the moment I arrived ! I headed to Charlie's after my neighbor suggested I give them a try, as she has some relatives who always have a good experience there. I had dozen configurations of veggies and flowers in mind, not to mention needing a flat of jalapeno peppers for my neighbor (which I thought they would definitely be out of.) Good listener Matt stayed with me the whole time - helped me pull everything I needed together, often calling on another of the crew there to ask if something was in stock, hiding in a corner somewhere and then he with his two colleagues, covering my car seats and trunk contents with plastic sheets (have never had anyone do that for before !) and carefully pack my car for the trip back home. They even stayed :30 minutes after close as we made sure I had everything I needed for my projects. While I didn't get the the bok choy I was after, I got so much more from the exchange - how very good my trip to North Arlington was. Highly recommended.

I simply love this place. I only recently got into growing plants. Though I know very little, I'm excited about it and the staff at Charlie's shared in my enthusiasm while expertly explaining to me how to deal with the bugs on my plants and recommending which plants grow well indoors. Now I have a thriving herb garden on my windows and my plants and I couldn't be happier. I'm making up excuses to go back, at this point. Everyone is happy and friendly while expert and knowledgeable.

I went in recently to purchase a fruit tree. Joe was enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. They have just purchased the nursery and have turned the place around. There was at least twice the stock from two years ago. All of the fruit trees were trimmed and healthy and not just a stalk, which makes a big difference. I will return soon and have already recommended the place to friends. I do not agree with professional shopper. We found some annuals there that we have not seen anywhere else in the Northeast.

Out of all the nurseries in the area this has to be the least attractive and in a horrible location. I would hate to see what type of infestations one would find in plants so near a rat infested river.
