Chandelier Room

I was there with a few girlfriends and i purchased a bottle for my birthday they handed me a reciept for an amount when I checked my account they charged over a $100.00 dollars more than what my total was!! I am in the processes of trying to dispute this with no answer from the hotel yet. I am very dissapointed I would expect this from a hole in the wall bar but not from the W I dont recommend anyone purchase bottles or anythin with a credit card there!!!

located inside the w hotel in hoboken, great view of manhattan from the windows. swanky style, very hip. very over priced, for the cost of the drinks you should probably go to manhattan.

I am giving this place 2 stars because it is a decent place (crowd wise) in Hoboken and the manager does his job BUT,
On Saturday night in the balcony room that opens up during the summer, the bar was very slow, a bartender by the name of ADAM (bald, caramel skin) was drinking the whole night and talking to his friends instead of getting customers their drinks. For my 3rd drink I was standing there staring at him for 5 minutes, even raised my hand to get his attention all the while he was chatting away and drinking his drink.
then he finally looks at me and asks why I dont ask for my drink instead of staring at him the whole night. so I informed him i have been calling him and raised my hand so he told ME to KEEP raising my hand and he was going to go back to chatting with his friend. AMAZING. REALLY.
so I closed my tab and talked to the manager (Darren) on my way out who gave me 4 free drinks to apologize.
The next day I check my account to check if i was charged the wrong amount. At the W, tip is included in the amount you are billed so the amount in the receipt is the final amount. I was OVER CHARGED. of courses! lol
The bartender was not only cocky and horrible at customer service because he doesn't have to earn his tip, but he's a thief too that over charges credit cards.

The sad part is that the W is a nice place but it's horrible that they hire low lives like this that treat customers as if they were in a dive bar.

Thursday Nights as well as Sunday Brunch parties are absolutely amazing!! So much Fun

Great spot to go to after work. The places has amazing views great drinks and flat screens. I like the pizza and the sliders there.
