Used to come here regularly. Decor hasn't been updated in like 30 years. Found a bug in my soup---NEVER WENT BACK.

The tiki drinks aren't exactly on par with the correct thing but it is like an amazing time capsule of the old Chinese/Polynesian American culture that grew out of the obsession with Hawaii. Not to be missed, a real old school tiki establishment in new Jersey.

We had a good experience. The staff was friendly and patient with our large group (8 people). The food itself was very flavorful, I had pork lo mein and a side order of fried dumplings. The vegetables were all very fresh. My only complaint is how overly salty some of the food was, but that could have easily been a one time mistake. I'd absolutely visit again.

Chan's Dragon Inn, with it's plain exterior and Hawaiian-themed interior (including Hawaiian music!), which seems to have been renovated as recently as 1968, made for an interesting aesthetic. It's very dark inside, like a '60s joint. I stopped here for lunch on the way north to the George Washington Bridge into New York City. My choice was the Sweet & Sour Pork lunch special. It came with fried won ton noodles as an appetizeer, water, hot tea, soup of my choice, pork-fried rice, and the entree. It was filling and delicious, and for $10.00, after tax & tip, it was a great value. RJT
