As a tutor working for this company, I have to say they make it easy for us by allowing us to make our own schedules, supplying us with the material we need to use for tutoring, and communicating with us whenever there is a problem.
I have read negative reviews regarding the DOE taking a long time to process job applicants' paperwork. This is true. The DOE is very unprofessional when it comes to this type of work.
During the time of my application's pending approval by the DOE's background check, Champion Learning stayed in contact with me and let me know as soon as it went through.

It took 5 MONTHS! for my background check to go through... be patient. Maybe make a few calls to Brooklyn DOE if you are getting desperate.

I *supposedly* got a job as a tutor with them about 3 months ago, but I still haven't started. They say they are waiting for "authorization" from the Department of Education, but I'm not sure whether I believe them. Is anyone else having this problem?
