I just had the misfortune of having a realtor from this Century 21 show "my home" - I am renting but until I have moved out, it is my home. Can you imagine my dismay to find my bedroom curtains all in disarray? As you can imagine, moving is stressful, my bedroom is the one place I can go to that still is somewhat normal - to find it vandalized is beyond upsetting. Who touches another person's things?? And who knows what else was gone through? When I called to speak to the realtor on her cell phone - she hung up and when I called back her voice mail was on. I would hope anyone looking for help in purchasing or selling a home would think twice about patronizing this realtor there are too many others out there to waste time with this.

Wish the news was better.
Left a message this past Monday for the office manager that went unanswered.
Received the following reply from Century 21 Headquarters:
Thank you for contacting Century 21 Real Estate LLC. We received your complaint involving your experience with CENTURY 21 Gemini LLC.
While the goal of all CENTURY 21® franchise offices is always to meet and exceed the clients’ expectations, we recognize that there will be circumstances where any office or person can fall short or where the parties may not communicate perfectly. As the franchisor of the Century 21 Real Estate System, we ask CENTURY 21 affiliated brokerage offices to address consumer complaints respectfully and promptly to protect the goodwill of our service marks, but franchise offices remain independently owned and operated and the franchisee must handle any complaints or issues directly with their clients. Accordingly, the franchisee, as an independent business entity, is the appropriate party to address your concerns.
We will, of course, advise Wayne Damstra, Responsible Broker/Owner, of CENTURY 21 Gemini LLC about your complaint and request that they address your issue directly with you. When they have received our communication, we expect that the office will reach out to you to discuss the matter. We will be happy to follow up if you do not receive a response within 14 days of this letter. It is our hope that your concern can be resolved quickly and amicably, but we cannot make any promises as to the outcome given that our franchisee is in the best position to work with you to address the issue.
Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.
Sincerely,
Anita Barnes

The question is - do you really want this agency to handle such an immense, emotional part of your life? Selling or purchasing your home is a major responsibility.
