Good fun, and great for kids. Pretty small (you could walk round the whole thing in a couple of hours) but not too crowded and reasonably priced. Wouldn't come again, but glad I came.

surprisingly nice zoo of which, on a rainy day, I liked the big bird house best. It's quite small and compared with some European zoos back home the animals don't have that much space. Still I found it nice and educational

Nice little zoo right in the center of Manhattan. It's always nice to have a zoo in the city so kids could visit often.
However, the selection of animals are kind of small here and I only remember penguin after my visit. It's expected though as the size of zoo isn't that big compare to the normal zoo most people expected.

Our toddler loved this place.
The penguin exhibit was very depressing & were a little disappointed that the "Madagascar" animals weren't even there.
We much preferred the Tisch Children's Zoo about a 5 minute walk away.

Great zoo in the middle of Manhattan. I took my 3 year old daughter and she had a great time. The children's zoo is especially nice and kid friendly. It admission fees are ok, but you could save more by becoming a wildlife conservation member.
