Huge wonderful park, to walk around you need 5 hours. I was walking all day in this lovely place, after visiting Apple Store. Very romantic and quite on November.

It was a fun walk, couldn't cover even half of it in 1.5 hrs of walking and stopping. Some really beautiful photo spots. Horse carriage seems interesting. Take some water along if you plan to be there for a while in the summer especially.
Will visit again, to see the rest of it.

This is the quintessential park all of Manhattan. It is the crown jewel of the city and readily enjoyed by everyone locals and tourists alike. It is just great to wander and explore off the main paths as you always discover something amazing. Just don’t do that at midnight unless you stick to the main well lighted paths but then if I have to tell you that you clearly have no common sense. While it can be a mob scene in the summer time with runners, bikers, walkers, strollers and everything in between it is still a wonderful park to get some green and trees away from the urban jungle.

While on another note to get away from the hordes of people Prospect Park also designed by Olmstead is a nice quite reprieve.

One of the best cycling loops in the city. Breath taking views year round. One of my favorite places to go running as well. Spring and summer playgrounds are the best times to hangout with the kids. Always feel safe when we are at the park.

The loop is great for running and biking, especially if you are training for a run/bike race. It has a great mix of inclines and flats. The park itself is beautiful and has something for everyone. Looking forward to the day when I won't breathe the smell of horse manure.
