Central Park sets the standard for city parks. It is massive and no way you can cover side to side, end to end in one day. From the bow bridge to the lakes, carousel, skating rink, zoo, sculptures, playgrounds and just plain horticultural beauty, this is hard to beat. It is always bustling without feeling crowded. People are walking, jogging, cycling all times of day and night and carriage rides are available day and night. Make sure if you are visiting to allocate at least half a day to the southern half of the park - at minimum - it is worth it. Bring a camera!

Amazing place to really relax, exercise, join a class of...well anything....and meet new people. Be social here because it is a huge part of the city.
