Don't waste your time The office is poorly run. It takes multiple calls over several days to get a answer. They don't even return phone calls, voicemail is useless. I was a patient for 6 years and can't tolerate this place any longer. After 6 phone calls and not 1 return call I drove there in person with the same message for my doctor to call me. Finally after two days I reached a staff member and I was put on hold for 15 min and told no "emergency" appointment available for 6 days. I saw the doctor every month for 6 years and he was not willing to "squeeze me in." Pathetic way to treat someone.

I agree with the statement below that it is a busy office...hence the reason they are moving to a larger location in May. They are totally not about maximizing profits. A person, especially a child, should be seeing a therapist first for several weeks before they see a psychiatrist. AND three weeks to see a psychiatrist is NOTHING! AND I disagree with the therapist availability. If you are inflexible with your schedule then yes, maybe you arent getting in as often, but I have always been able to get in every week, because I try to be flexible with my therapist. Everyone here has been extremely helpful and kind and compassionate. I have recommended them to many friends and family. Keep up the good work CJBH!

I brought my young son here for counseling. The waiting area was always extremely busy and the office staff seemed overwhelmed with fielding phone calls and trying to schedule appointments with patients in person. My sense is that the practice is about bringing in the most number of patients to maximize profits, without an emphasis on making a real connection with patients. I contacted the office at the end of December/beginning of January. It took about 3 weeks to get to see one of the psychiatrists. It took until the first week of Feb to see one of the counselors. Appointments with the counselor tend to available only once every 2-3 weeks. Last time we were in the office, we did not get an appointment card (it was busy - multiple people being taken care of at the same time). When I called to followup about the date of the next counseling session, I was told that it had past and that a phone call was left on my home number. I have no doubt the office staff tried to leave a message, as they had for previous appointments, but I have caller ID that shows I never recieved a phone call. Rather than apologize for the mixup, the staff member was argumentative and told me that another appointment wouldn't be available for at least another 3 weeks (which would be 7 weeks since the last appointment). This is really not effective for a young child.
