Let's be frank. Most people just don't feel comfortable with any mechanic. However Brian and Carlos of Central have been taking care of our cars for more than 20 years. He kept my 26 year old Camry running strong until I finally gave it up last year .

Are they the least expensive? Definitely not. Will they push you to do work that is unnecessary? Definitely not. Will Brian let you slide on a problem that could possibly affect the safety of you and your family? Definitely not.

Would I trust my three cars to anyone else? Definitely not.

If you are thinking of purchasing a used car as I recently did, take it to Central. They will thoroughly check the car and give you an unbiased opinion.

It is unfortunate that Google rating system doesn't have a sixth star, because Central deserves it.

- Poor #87746
shop manager called me back after i left a message with one of his workers and was immediately rude and abrupt on the phone. he cut me off partway through my opening sentence to demand that i tell him my name even though i was still in the middle of explaining to him what i was calling about (a simple inspection of a used car i was considering). he then quoted me a price ($95) that was almost double what i've paid for this sort of work in the past and then continued to ask if i "even thought it was worth it" to pursue such an old car... as though i hadn't already done my research and figured out what i wanted...

someone in sales needs to offer this guy a customer service workshop.

- Terrible #87747
So I see this mom and pop shop in the middle of a busy street near Springfield boulevard and I decided to have someone there take a look at a problem. My exaust was cracked in half right before the catback system. It was hanging and I asked Frank (store operator/mechanic) to see what he can do. I brought my own exaust system to him which I bought online for 400 dollars about a week ago, and the installation job itself is very straightforward (I would have done it myself but I had no time) 150 dollars at most, 200 to make profit and 250 to rip a guy off. I leave my car overnight and he promised me a call in the morning. I get the call the next morning and he said that he removed the old exaust and that it took him an hour and a half... which should have been a measly 20 minute job. I mean the exaust was already CRACKED IN HALF right before the catback already... All that was needed to be done was some unbolting. He must have been holding a cell phone and working on the car at the same time to total an hour and a half. I ask him "are you charging me for the removal?" he said "it took an hour and a half so its 140 dollars." Are you serious. Then I ask him "so what about the installation?" he responds with "it'll be another two and a half hours so we're looking at 390 dollars" RIPPED THE HELL OFF. I refused and said that was ridicule! THE LABOR IS NO WAY MORE THAN MY EXAUST. Then he had the nerve to say well if you don't want me to do the rest then i'll just put back your parts in the box and you can come pick it up AFTER you pay the 140 dollar labor. Funny. He just lost a potential recurring customer. In the end, if you go to him or thought you knew him then clearly you are oblivious about car repair costs. Good Luck.

Save your time and money and find somewhere else because this is just outrageous.
