Center For Allergy Asthma Immunology - Dr Gadi Avshalomov, M.D.

I have been seeing Dr. Gadi for about 6 years. He is a Godsend! I went to him in bad shape. I have had asthma since I was about 3 years old. On top of asthma I have a ton of allergies. As I got older, I didnt treat my asthma or allergies properly. I would take over the counter allergy meds. I would take my asthma inhaler, but I abused it terribly. As the years went on, my asthma progressively got worse. I was unable to breath most of the time. Any activity would have me short of breath. Even walking up 3 steps was a strain. Im not over weight, my asthma had gotten that bad. Dr. Gadi saved me, I really believe that! i was also having issues with constantly getting sinus infections and always on antibiotics. He resolved all my issues. He ran blood tests and found I lose immunity to certain vaccines, this is hereditary. I had no idea. I was reimmunized and no longer get sinus infections. No more antibiotics. As for my asthma, i followed his treatment plan and get regular allergy shots. I am able to breath again and hardly use my albuterol. He is thorough, explains everything and truly cares for all his patients. I thank him for saving my life. Such a wonderful man and doctor. I would trust no one else but him. I even bring my children to him.

Front desk is unprofessional, I usually spend over 10 minutes on hold before I can even say a word. Girls are incredibly rude and condescending. No wonder they aren't rated well by their patients, who wants to go past the front desk, even if the Dr is amazing. Had to switch to another provider.

As a parent it is so comforting to know that your children receive the best care whenever there's a health crisis . For about 6 weeks my daughter began to break out in what I can only describe as an itchy rash all over her body ,for a teenager that was a "lifetime" .She was treated by a dermatologist ,however the rash only got increasingly worse. I took her to Dr.Gadi's office on a recommendation from a friend. I was skeptical at first however after meeting Dr.Gadi I felt an immediate sense of relief, not only was he knowledgeable ,he took the time to ask about my daughter's interests ,he inquired about how she was doing in school and even called her a princess "OMG" warm and down to earth as well . Following the initial examination he explained his thoughts about the possible causes .My daughter then had a series of allergy test done conveniently at his office, within a few days we received the results which confirmed she was allergic to various metals found in costume jewelry and rubber found in stretchy fabrics etc ,which resulted in a severe case of eczema . He prescribed a topical lotion and made suggestions about the things she should do to avoid getting reoccurring allergic reaction ,the eczema began to disappear within the first couple of days and was completely gone in about 2 weeks thank goodness! . Quality care from a doctor who's passionate about his patients and his profession !

I and my children have been treated by Dr. Gadi for about 2 years. Two of us had severe allergies which often compromised our daily lives... and even inability to function optimally at everyday tasks, before we met Dr. Gadi. Prior to Dr Gadi ...over the course of years-, a good number of specialists and allergists (at well respected hospitals) were unable to provide any noticeable relief for us. Almost immediately after testing and starting individual customized treatments prescribed by Dr. Gadi, all three of us have had excellent results, as do many other patients we talked to in the waiting room of his office. All of Dr Gadi's staff have demonstrated a level of knowledge we had not received before from any of the other doctors, with great results. He also uncovered autoimmune deficiencies aside from allergies, which simply required one-time shots which have greatly reduced our endless recurrent bouts of illness. Dr. Gadi has the highest integrity and has refused to over treat, as one of our kids has never received allergy treatments or any medication, but he simply found her to have an minor autoimmune deficiency which was easily fixed ...with great improvement and far less illnesses. He is great at talking and explaining to my children... and always approachable and considerate of their input. Stephanie
