Celebrity Styling Dog Groomers

My dog went in with a bandana and came out with bows. The bows were tangled into my dogs hair and it was left in a big ball of tangled mess. They didn't ask before they did it. It's upsetting. I had to cut the bows and I took a chunk of hair. My poor baby.

I was really disappointed today. I recently moved about 30 min away but i like how they cut my dogs hair so i was willing to take the drive i called and said is be coming in they don't go by apt i got there at 1130am and was given a head nod through the window that they weren't accepting any more dogs for the day :( super disappointing bc i was being a loyal customer. They should prob go by apt since they have a limit per day rather then turning away customers. All in all i liked how they cut my pup. I wish them well but i will find somewhere closer to home.

When I first arrived I thought the storefront looked crappy and unprofessional. Even still, I went in and decided to give this place a chance. We briefly talked about my dog - he is 13 lbs. and is both a yorkie & a shih tzu - so you know he is going to be a yapper! Anyhow, when I came back 1hr & 1/2 later to pick him up, I thought he looked handsome. It wasn't the same quality of work that I've gotten at PetSmart but he smelled really good and looked good enough. Upon closer examination, I noticed that his haircut really was a sloppy one. His paws, head and face were not that great. I also noticed some sticky stuff around my dog's snout and when he panted, I noticed a fresh cut on his tongue. These latter 2 things made me wonder what happened to my dog while at Celebrity Styling Dog Groomers. He seemed okay, but I was really upset at the possibility of a groomer holding or maybe even taping my dog's mouth shut, in a forceful way, in order to groom his face. I wanted to go back into that shitty hole of a "store" and really let someone have it!! My fiance stopped me as it would have just been a very confrontational situation, I wouldn't have been able to prove anything, and also I did not want to disturb the other innocent dogs who were already there getting "groomed." I'LL NEVER COME BACK HERE AGAIN. You may want to REALLY do your research and seek REAL professional service before going to this dump in Montclair!!!!

found them 2 years ago and even though i moved farther away I still get my dog to them. very reasonable and caring.

After my schedule changed at work, I was not able to take my dog to his regular groomer. So after calling Celebrity Styling this morning to make an appointment, I was told I could bring right in. I ran over and dropped him off. About 2hrs later, I got a call that he was ready to be picked up. They did a wonderful job with Chico. I would definitely recommend taking your pet here to get groomed, and I will definitely go back.
