Cassa Hotel 45th Street New York

Business travel. Small room but comfortable bed and quiet. Small street entrance, I passed it twice. But it's directly across the street from the office. This is my new NY home away from home. No room service, no coffee maker in room. Be thee fairly warned.

Room was quite spacious and was very comfortable. Can't go wrong with free hot chocolate in the lobby either!

Cassa is in a great location, has moderate rooms and facilities and has friendly staff. The only downside is the noise at night, I hope you enjoy sirens, loudspeakers and electronic dings. This is in a busy street with minimal noise insulation.

Beware of their strict 3 PM check in policy. Early check in request not honored.
Staff are slave to policy and 'Due process' and not open to accomodating a guests request.
Not sure how one can label them a part of the 'hospitality industry'
Finally a department head was the one who helpes me out. ..name was Sahir and his effort helped the hotel get an additional star from me for this review.
Disappointed but grateful to Sahir.

Above and beyond amazing service. The room looked like we belonged in a VIP celebrity life. Voss water awaits you on your gorgeous computer desk. Mini fridge (but there's a key you have to unlock it.) They were super sweet can hail you taxis quickly they're quick, humble and efficient. The bath tub was nearly as deep as a hot tub but slightly narrow. The bathroom was gorgeous the room was gorgeous. We had a king sized bed and the front desk was very accommodating and we had a great time. The best part was when the man opened the cab door for us and said welcome home. We will be back in July!
