Very peaceful place to go to and watch the water

Nice place for the kids to play and go for an afternoon walk along the Pier.

New park along the Arthur Kill. Many come here to fish but the water is very polluted. There is a playground for kids, restrooms, bandstand, and a mini golf course. The mini golf is only open during the warm season, and there is a small fee. A path leads from the pier to Danielle's Garden on the other side of the park. Along the path are exercise stations, a boca court and a volleyball court. Beware of the area of the path farthest away from the pier, suspicious types like to hang out there. But that may change since the State Police Marine Barracks is being built adjacent to that area.
