The food is always great, the problem is the tempeture of the food, the mash potatoes are never hot , and my Beef Strog was cold also , I was very disappointed

After arrival & having been seen by staff waited over 10 minutes to be greeted and seated. We sat without being waited upon upon for 20 minutes without bread, water or menus.When we got to order we and waited more than one hour for our food to be served while owner doted over people seated at the table next to us. When finally served, the food had obviously been sitting under a warming lamp for some time. The Scampi dish was an overcooked appetizer portion( 4 shrimp). Two hours after our arrival, Twenty minutes after we had finished our meals, although at that time we had no appetite for it, we were not offered coffee or dessert. It took three requests to get a check. At no time during our ordeal were we offered any apologies, explanations or complimentary items.

Not bad fare for an outer-borough spot...

outstanding, creative cuisine. great combinations and they all work. leave room for the peanut butter souffle.
