Carmel Richmond Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center

The place gets one star because the everyday staff were very nice and professional. However the social worker was simply awful with a miserable personality and made numerous mistakes with my 90 year old mother. She was hard to communicate with and seemed to have her own personal agenda. They relied on dated doctor's reports and made terrible decisions in my view. In addition I didn't care for how they represented my mother's physical status with Medicare after less than 4 weeks. As a result she was prematurely not covered by Medicare costing the family thousands of dollars even though theoretically she was entitled to as much as 100 days. I feel that they threw my mother under the bus and there was no support from the administration when I objected. I would never recommend this place.

Had a family member stay there. Not crazy about the food but the staff was amazing. They were very kind and concerned. The place was also well kept and clean.

Except for the horrible meals, the all around care I've been getting here for my total knee replacement has been far beyond my expectations. The staff here are absolutely wonderful.The facility is clean and the response time to my needs have been remarkable. I know that there are many other situations that people spend time here for but as far as my rehab for my particular situation I feel that I might have just lucked out that there were no beds at EGERS. 5 stars plus for Carmel Richmond

En el año 1973, trabaje como ayudante de enfermera en el segundo piso de ese maravilloso lugar, fue un verdadero honor haber sido parte de vuestro staff y agradezco profundamente a todos por lo mucho que aprendi y el cariño que tanto las hermanas como mis compañeras, me dieron.
Hoy tengo 60 años, tres hijos con Carlos que tambien fue empleado vuestro y ademas 3 hermosos nietos.
Los mejores momentos de mi vida de esa epoca los pase con uds.y los queridisimos pacientes que aùn recuerdo
