When I first moved to NY, the first thing I wanted to try was NY pizza. This was the very first place that I tried and after trying hundreds of others, it has stayed at the top of my list. Now that I'm living back in Utah, I miss it more than ever.

carlo's pizzeria is one of the best pizza places in nyc. the chicken parmisian heroes are off the charts. their garlic knots are perfect but u have to ask for the marinara sauce to eat with them. the sicilian slices are the best i ever ate . last but not least the baked ziti chicken parmisian is smothered in sauce and cheese and has a ton of chicken and tastes phenominal. this is the pizzeria that holds the standard for me that hardly any other pizzeria's meet. fantastic. the decor is normal because it is a pizzeria not a restaurant.
