AVOID! I had to call 4 times just to make an appointment. When someone finally answered they said she is booked for the next two weeks. I said okay and made the appointment. The day of the appointment they called and said I have to reschedule and there is an opening the following week. That morning I received another phone call stating that she wont be in and they do not know if she will be in the rest of the week. This is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. AVOID. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME

Great doctor, but can never get a hold of the office to make an appoinment anymore.

1 star because I can't give less. I made an appointment for my daughter for the dermatologist almost a month in advance. She has only one day a week that she is there after 3pm. What dermatologist is closed after school? You serve kids (as well as adults)! Said she doesn't have enough business in Port Washington to be open more. Guess why!? Because you aren't open when kids are actually able to see you! They are in school until 3pm, so closing when they get out makes no sense.

And then...Twice now they have called the day before the appointment to cancel the appointment because of a family emergency. Why wait until the day before the 2nd time? My daughter made the appointment because she NEEDS to see the doctor for an actual medical issue.

I have been a patient for over two years. Dr. Summa is a good doctor, however, her staff is very nasty and unprofessional. Over the past six weeks, they have rescheduled by appointment 3/4 times. Since she opened up a new office on the North Shore, the Franklin Square office has suffered. I had a appointment yesterday at 5:30pm and I received a call at 11:30 am telling me that they had to reschedule. When I explained to them that this is the 3 or 4th time they have done this to me, and that I wont be coming back, the reply I received was okay and they hung up on me. I called back and requested Dr. Summa to call me personally to discuss this matter. To date no call has been received. Avoid Avoid
