I purchased glasses for my non verbal 6 year old. I was told by the owner that he is giving me a substantial discount. Not sure how true that was because I visited a number of glasses stores in the area and the price was around $99 for both frame and lens. I actually purchased a pair the same day for $50 for both frame and polycarbon lens! According to him, the lens are extra. Ummm all children are supposed to get polycarbon lenses. Why is that an additional price when regular glasses is not an option for children???
Well, wiith children, you should always have a backup pair. That is why I decided to purchase from Caribbean Vision. Big mistake! Rude staff and ridiculous return/exchange policy. My son is non verbal, so when I received the glasses, he refused to wear them and could not tell me why. Not sure if it was heavy, tight, or just plain uncomfortable. I went back to Carribean Vision the very next day and was told to come back almost a week later when the owner will return. Why? A return policy is a return policy. Why does the owner have to come in order to decide on what to do? The receipt says, no cash refund. Store credit within 14 days. Ok. Well, all I wanted was either a new frame or pay a small difference to get a different style. Well, when I returned the day I was instructed to, the owner decided to concoct some insane story about how he will lose money if he gave me another frame. Also, the store credit applies to those who leave a deposit but have not picked up their glasses. What? Where does is say anything remotely close to that on the receipt? Made up nonsense!
He was nasty, rude and unprofessional. NEVER AGAIN!
