- Very Good #128065

Carbone has been around for a while, but the food is as good as it ever was. This is not an inexpensive meal, but one you will surely not forget. The Rigatoni is a favorite, and on our last visit we tried the Branzino as a main course the 3 sauces that accompanied it were fabulous.
Carrot cake with Ginger frosting to close out the night, and we had a table of happy people.

5 stars for the acting!
Are you kidding? The 3 Stooges are hilarious. Up-sell at the table.. Charming and flirty they will make you think you are in some sort of SoHoFaBuLo restaurant that you get to tell your southern girlfriends about. Dont fall for any of the hype, go in and show what real charm looks like, then cross the street to Lupa and order the brisket. YUM!

- Terrible #128067

Food was good, the music was loud.

I was very disappointed with the wine "bait and switch"... they advertised a certain style/vintage and we were served something different. Once we explained the issue to the wine steward and to the owner afterwards; there was no followup.

Basically, we were over charged several hundred dollars at our meal with ZERO consideration, follow up or resolution from the owner. They stole from us.

They are (obviously) doing great now, but if they keep taking advantage of the clientele, they will fade in time.
